Through the years this has become more evident to me. people come to a yoga class and become rejuvenated. They are different from who they were when they came in. they are renewed. Of course, we are talking about hatha yoga. The Sanskrit words ha and tha, mean sun and moon. This represents that constant struggle we have from our internal and external worlds. Hatha yoga realigns these two.
It is undeniable that the body is more than just physical. It is energetic. According to yoga philosophy we have millions of filaments that run in our spiritual body. these filaments or nadis, connect all the different parts of the body, from the skin to the internal tissues in our skeleton. These sensitive filaments are block by the way we eat, the way we think, the things we say, and the way we act. Then the natural flow of energy is blocked, and we enter in dis-ease. Yoga works in subtle ways to reopen and unclog the nadis.
